How does Bodyfurn's height system work?

Furnware has measured 25,000 students and is measuring more every year. As we measure we form the data into criteria based on ethnicity, gender and age. When we visit new schools we request information on the ethnic mix of the school, the age of the students in the classrooms and the gender mix. We can then provide a recomendation on the heights of chairs and desks or tables that will fit an average representation of students likely to come into that age group over a period of years.

Will there be different height chairs and desks in each classroom?

If that is what you choose to do then yes. Research clearly indicates that correctly sized chair and desks provides superior levels of comfort and health benefits. However, if differing height chairs and desks do not fit with your classroom management practices then one height will be fine.

What about group work? how does different heights restrict those activities?

You have to be careful and differentiate between group work and single, large sheet of paper work. Group work can be conducted easily from differing height desks or tables. When there is a single large sheet of paper that needs to be shared amongst the group then differing height desks are a problem. It is now decision time. Do you forgo the significant comfort, ergonomic and health benefits of different heights chairs and desks so that you can do single large sheet work? How often do you ask your students to work on these kinds of projects? Once or twice a term?  There are sacrifices everywhere, just consider carefully the actual activities you are asking your furniture to support.

Does your funriture have a warranty or guarantee?

Yes, Bodyfurn System furniture has a 10 year guarantee as does the majority of the Flexilearn range. Products that are fabric covered carry a warranty limited by the coverage the fabric supplier provides - this is usually one year. All our warrantees, and guarantees only cover product and workmanship defects, not accidental or deliberate damage.

What countries do you offer your products into?

Our products are used all over the world and our team is very experienced in getting furniture into the most difficullt to access areas. There are Furnware people in New Zealand and Australia and Furnware trained people in Shanghai, the United States of America and throughout the Middle East.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

What are Bodyfurn product made from?

Bodyfurn products are made from a Polypropeleyne recipe that has been formulated and improved to stand up to the rigours of any tough environment as well as retaining its colour through UV stability. The frame is a high tensile steel, which is powdercoated for extra protection.
