We’re passionate about education. For over 80 years, Furnware has been designing and building high-performing, innovative school furniture so children can thrive in the most inspiring learning spaces imaginable.

our team

Furnware is part of the family-owned Resero Group, employing over 200 people around the world. We design and build most of our furniture at our base in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, alongside our manufacturing and assembly factory in Sydney, with dedicated teams working from offices in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore, supporting our customers in every region.

We have a saying at Furnware, 'it's all about the kids', and we consider every student in every one of our over 4,000 schools in more than 30 countries, our most important customers. From kindergarten to tertiary, small schools to large schools, rural to urban, the furniture we design and the spaces we create are so students have the space to be their very best, while enhancing learning for everyone.

We’re totally committed to investing in education, sponsoring over 100 principal and business managers associations and conferences to deliver the best networking and training to professionals around the world.

World-class design – it’s what we do

At Furnware, we research, design, and build school furniture that’s flexible, mobile and multipurpose. Most of all, it's functional and performs in the classroom improving student comfort and concentration. We investigated how learning could be improved, measuring 20,000 students, which led to the development of the Bodyfurn Sled Chair and size system supporting the learner.

Bodyfurn’s ground-breaking, dynamic design, with its independently pivoting seat, was awarded a Designers institute of NZ award. We continue to push design innovation in everything we create, with our Spacemakers winning a Bronze medal at the 2018 NZ Best Design Awards.

Furnware is invested in aligning ourselves with industry best practice and is in the process of achieving ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System accreditation.
